Pikeville Medical Center partners with MedKeeper for IV Workflow Verification and Tracking System.

The Verification suite will support Pikeville Medical Center’s objectives in supporting Kentucky Board of Pharmacy sterile compounding regulations around the ability to capture lot number and expiration dates for patients specific IV orders. In addition, the Tracking solution will allow a comprehensive approach in capturing data for the delivery of approved IV and oral medication orders in reducing turnaround times and missing medications.

Pikeville Medical Center, member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, is a 300-bed facility that has been dedicated to providing quality care in Kentucky for over 91 years. The organization offers more than 400 services, including every major specialty and most subspecialties. PMC has completed a tremendous expansion, adding an 11-story clinic and a 10-story parking garage to it’s main campus. The PMC Clinic houses office and clinical space for outpatient surgery, as well as exam rooms for primary and specialty care physicians. The enclosed parking garage has spaces for 1,162 cars. The hospital has nearly 2,700 employees and approximately 350 credentialed providers, all focused on providing top-quality patient care.
